Oh I do love me a sweet romance and that is exactly what 'The Shearing Gun' was. It was two men working out how to be together in an environment that they were unsure of but having finally met that one person who made them want the kind of relationship that you build a future on they were each willing to put themselves out there and find out together what it would take to make it work.

I really liked Elliot and Hank, they were each very different and I loved how they shared their world with the other. The humor in this story was perfect and had me smiling and laughing from start to finish. 'The Shearing Gun' was relatively low on angst which was a nice change and it was also brilliantly filled out with a colorful cast of characters who I would happily love to see show up in future books by this author.

This was my first read by this author and definitely not my last.
