Well I'm confused...

Double Full - Kindle Alexander

Have you ever read a book and gotten to the end and found yourself sitting there thinking a couple of things actually.  The first one being "damn, 'I'm done and I still don't know if I liked the book or not?' and the next one 'Why didn't you tell me the one thing I wanted to know...who the f*#k did it?'  Well that's where I am right now.  I'm still not sure if I really liked this book or not and I want to know who did it?

Did it being who was responsible for Colt's accident.

So I've looked at the reviews trying to figure this one out because I absolutely loved 'The Currant Between Us' which was the first book that I'd read by this author.  I devoured that book and was just wrapped in warm fuzzies pretty much from start to finish.  Hell, I even did a review about how much I loved that book and the cover...I mean really damn! Not only was that a fabulous story but I'm pretty sure that cover had me wiping drool off my chin for a day or two and to be honest so did this one.  I've commented that I think the whole naked male torso is overdone on book covers but I have to say I am so willing to make an exception for these books.  Actually for pretty well any of this author's book covers because...well...damn...I mean really have you seen them?  They are fine.

Ok, enough about book covers back to my dilemma which is how do you write a review for a book that you can't decide how you feel about even after your done reading it.  I've decided you don't.  I'm not going to say horrible things about it because I really didn't feel it was a horrible book at all.  It took me a little longer to get through than normal but that was because I've had a busy few days and I was sick for a couple of days...so not the books fault.  Having said that I would feel equally hypocritical if I gave it 5 stars and a rave review because I didn't feel that either.  So in the end I've decided to give it 3 stars because that's basically the middle not great but definitely not bad.  I'll live with my ambiguity and I am however, going to hopefully resolve the one burning question that I have by reading the next book in this series and hopefully finding out who did it and also, who knows, with any luck I'll at least come away knowing whether or not I liked what I read.
