Things our parents teach us...

Blood & Thunder - Charlie Cochet

“Please, don’t say it,” Dex groaned at his dad.

“We’ve got a big problem.”

“I told you not to say it. One day. Would it be too much to ask for the nut jobs to take one fucking day off?”

“Crazy doesn’t take vacation, son..."

There are a lot of good conversations in this book but this is one of my favorites. This conversation between Dex and his father made me laugh and I found it so easy to imagine.

I was definitely hooked with the first book in this series and this one has sealed the deal. I can't wait to jump into book 3 Rack & Ruin and I am dreading the wait that will follow for each successive book but it will be worth it once I get my hands on them.

I'm off to book 3 and yes book 2 was fantastic and I loved it to bits and bits and can't wait for more, but right now I really need to jump into the next book.

I'm not sure why I waited so long to read these books but I'm glad I didn't wait any longer ;-)
