This is how a short story should be. Gaudete gave me the detail needed to fill out the story. Could there have been more...of course, it was good and don't we always want more when the story is good? I know I do. Did it need more...no, it truly felt complete with what the author gave us.

Gaudete was I think as close to a perfect Christmas story as I can probably hope to find. It was wonderful. Filled with hope, love, faith, renewal of love...it was sweet and warm and tender.  In a sentence it was exactly what I was wanting and needing. It was wonderful.
