of course I picked up my e-reader and figured I'd read for a few minutes until I could get back to sleep next thing I know it's nearly 7 a.m. and I'm only about 4 or 5 pages shy of finishing the book. Needless to say I'm not the perkiest kitten in the litter right now. This combined with the fact that there is a pretty abundant supply of reviews out there already for this book make me feel somewhat inclined to try and keep this fairly short.
In a nutshell I absolutely loved this book. Otter melted me time and again with his love and determination. Bear and the Kid had my mother instincts going crazy I wanted to protect them and give them the home they never got. I really liked Anna and Creed and Mrs. Paquinn. I wasn't sure about the story being told in first person but it worked and the more I read the more comfortable it became.
'Bear, Otter & the Kid' is only the second T.J. Klune book I've read but considering how much I enjoyed it, I'm pretty sure it's book #2 in what will become a long list of T.J. Klune books that I will be reading.
