This book was such a huge surprise for me. I enjoy R.J. Scott and have read a lot of her works, but The Gallows Tree for me was such a wonderfully amazing story. I loved Cody and everything he went through broke my heart. No one should every have their love betrayed the way his was. Thankfully he found Sebastian, someone whose heart was gentle enough and strong enough to help him begin to truly heal. Cody and Sebastian have found a place in my heart and left me hoping very strongly that one day they will share more of their story with us.
