Shock & Awe was a surprisingly enjoyable peek into the lives of Nick & Kelly two more of the members of Recon Team Sidewinder. I hadn't honestly given these men a lot of thought, so I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that I like them. Their personalities are similar and different enough to keep them from being boring as a couple.

At first I wasn't sure about the instant attraction between friends angle but as the story progressed what played out in Kelly's mind made me see that for him at least it wasn't so much instant attraction as what seemed to be unrecognized and therefore unacknowledged attraction. While Nick was more a case of denied attraction to preserve the friendship.

My only real issue of course is now that I've read this and realize how much I like the pairing of these two men, of course I would like to read more. I think it would be fun to see where life takes Nick and Kelly and of course we can always do with a peek or two at Ty & Zane, but really that goes without saying.

I'm hoping that all of the boys from Recon Team Sidewinder get to come back soon and did I mention hot monkey sex?
