I knew from the start this book was sure to be at the very least 3.5 stars. It's Australia, cowboys (or stockmen, jackaroos & jillaroos as they are referred to according to google), it's N.R. Walker, it's as close to a guaranteed good read as I can hope for and it did not fail. 

This book was beyond good it was simply wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better read. So if you want or need to know more my best advice is go to the reviews check them out. I couldn't write anything better or more descriptive than what has already been done, so why should I waste my time or yours trying to do so. Even better read the book. Let yourself fall into the story and be there in Australia on that red dirt soil, taking in the rugged beauty of the land and the men who inhabit it. 

Just remember if you go...take a shovel, watch for snakes and don't miss. G'day mate. I'm off to read book #2.
